From September 17th to 19th we will host ISGE & SBE Joint Meeting in São Paulo. Organized with the International Society for Gynecologic Endoscopy – one of the most important Societies of Gynecologic Endoscopy in the world, it will be SBE’s 1st Brazilian Congress of Endometriosis and Gynecologic Endoscopy.
We are working very hard so that our meeting can fulfill all expectations of the specialists in our country, known for their expertise in minimally invasive gynecology.
22 of our foreign guests have already confirmed their presence in the event. We will have the opportunity to discuss many topics of great interest for Brazilian and foreign gynecologists, focusing on the future of gynecologic endoscopy in endometriosis, uterine myomas and abnormal uterine bleeding. We will also discuss thrilling subjects such as robotic surgery and surgical hysteroscopy.
Some of our guests are Prof. Harry Reich, pioneer in the field of laparoscopic hysterectomies; Prof. Charles Miller, vice-president of ISGE and former president of AAGL (American Association of Gynecologic Laparoscopists); Prof. Stefano Bettocchi, specialist in surgical hysteroscopy; among other experts from the United States, Italy, Canada, Australia, United Kingdom, Japan, and India, as well of some of the most acknowledged specialists in minimally invasive surgery in Brazil.
As a special highlight in our program, on September 17th we will have some workshops, in which we will discuss the advances of imaging for the diagnosis of endometriosis, surgical and contraceptive hysteroscopy, anatomy of the pelvis for laparoscopy, conservative and radical treatments for uterine myomas, and robotic surgery – participants will be able to see the Da Vinci robot in action.
The venue selected for the congress was Instituto de Ensino e Pesquisa (IEP) at Hospital Sírio-Libanês, a renowned hospital in São Paulo that has modern facilities that can accommodate the practical courses. There are many hotels and shopping malls close to the hospital. It is located 12 km from Congonhas airport and 36 km from Guarulhos International airport.
